Troubleshooting Common Issues
Can't install Ludora / can't get in
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Inserted and ran the disc, still can't get in | Confirm the system firmware is between 9.00–13.00. The unlock itself has a small chance of failing — restart and run the disc again, that usually fixes it. |
| Forgot to run the disc from the home screen | Inserting the disc alone doesn't run it — find the disc on the PS4 home screen and select it once. |
Download failed
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Member account not bound" message | Cloud downloads require a bound account first. |
| All games fail to download | This is almost always on the Quark netdisk side. Check the Quark card in the client for the specific reason. |
| Downloads are slow | A Quark membership can speed things up (not required); or download to a PC first and connect over the local network. |
Installed but won't launch / shows an error
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Screen says this is a patch/DLC, not the base game | Go back to the detail page and choose a different download that includes the base game first. |
| Requires a newer system firmware version | This version needs a newer system firmware to run directly. The screen will show the required version — pick a build matching your firmware. |
Parental controls
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Shows "unlimited" but is still restricted | The mode hasn't synced yet. Check your network connection and re-enter the settings page. |
| Changed the daily time limit but it's not taking effect | Make sure you changed it for this specific device — on the mobile/web member site, go to Devices and select this PS4. |
