本作为 2002 年开始在电玩中心登场的竖屏射击游戏 ， 使用 TAITO CORPORATION 生产的 PlayStation 互换游戏基板 GNET。 游戏发售时的宣传语是 “ 射击游戏的主角不是弹幕 ， 而是自机 。 不 ， 是玩家 ！ ” 本作除一般的射击 ， 还可通过左右激烈摇动摇杆发动强力的侧面攻击 。 配合可攻击自机后方的逆火以及紧急回避时也会使用的炸弹防护罩 ， 尽情发动攻击吧 ！ 当时作为主流的是画面充满敌弹 ， 持续闪避敌方攻击的弹幕系游戏 ， 本游戏正好与之形成对比 。
